if we believe that we are co-creators of this reality (we are), then our minds are our most important tools to hone. meditation is the practice of honing \ tuning the mind + awakening the purity of consciousness that lay just beyond our conditioned mental pattterns \ habitual thinking. with the power of consistent meditation practice, the true nature of reality can be revealed to each of us.

the essence of meditation isn’t about “controlling” our thoughts -- it’s about releasing our thoughts control over us, by training our bodies to sit & stay -- no matter how uncomfortable, distracted or bored we might be -- and disciplining ourselves into a deep embodied presence, we slowly begin to unlock a mindful, clear recognition of the moment as it’s happening.
through meditation practice, we open ourselves to fully experience \ engage with \ allow whatever arises, and this process transforms us from the inside out.

meditation has changed my life over and over again.
it’s been a gateway into mindfulness and presence through some of the most challenging moments in my life, and it’s been an expander/amplifier (and a magnet) for some of the most beautiful.

i first experienced its transformational power in 2012, when my husband and i spent part of our honeymoon being trained in the art + science of transcendental meditation.
since then, we’ve explored countless meditation methods, techniques, postures, and approaches -- and guided many people through their own awareness-expanding meditation experiences.

as a meditation guide, my offering is to create an atmosphere that is conducive to the deepening of surrendered presence -- to help facilitate the relaxation of inner “doing” and the widening of inner “being.”
together, we can approach the vastness of inner space with curiosity, kindness, and the light, loving touch of awareness.
