our environment is an extension of our energy field.
influencing \\ being influenced by our thoughts, feelings, words… the energies that flow through day by day.
i harmonize my home. it tunes me back.
physically, mentally, emotionally.

doing family is so much easier in a harmonious environment.
homeschooling, homesteading, homeworking, homemaking, homebodying is so much harder in a disordered space.
in Chinese, feng shui = wind water.
flow, movement, clarity.
the land is alive and emitting prana = cosmic life force energy.
every piece of matter carries this energy.
i create channels and streams in my home so chi can flow smooth and clear.

i feel where it’s blocked -- the energy is stagnant. like a pond choked with algae and fallen leaves. like a corner shelf, untouched and covered in dust. no longer radiant with vitality and luster. overlooked. neglected. entropic.
it feels so good to bring care and attention to my life’s closets and corners.
bless my space, bless the life lived within it.
i remove all the clutter (i really don’t like clutter)
give everything a place.
clutter perpetuates an insatiable desire for “more” by creating feelings of dissatisfaction with what i have (when i take care of my things i don’t feel i need new ones).
clutter causes stress (everywhere i look i see a job)
clutter blocks positive energy flow (where the eye goes, the chi goes.)
drawers open effortlessly without getting jammed. remotes have batteries. light bulbs work. everything functioning at its best.
i don’t accustom myself to little aggravations because they add up to negativity. i find solutions because it expresses care. “and love says to everything that is near, ‘i will take care you of you.’”
also… i release perfection, and needing to have it done right all the time, because that leads to negativity too.

my taurus moon keeps me loyal and stable. caring for things on a deeply creature level. yearning for balance and routine. upholding contentment and wellbeing.
my gemini sun blows all that up, spends all day rearranging all the furniture just to put it back the way it was .. makes probably irresponsible decisions just to keep things interesting .. abandons habit and thrusts herself into the new and unknown, burns the candle at both ends.
sometimes i feel like two people in one.
it used to feel like conflict::
now it feels like balance.
